4C is the non-profit child care resource and referral agency serving Grant County and surrounding Northern Kentucky areas.
4C assists parents with locating child care by providing referrals to licensed child care centers and certified family child care homes. Parents will also receive information on choosing quality care.
For child care providers, 4C offers assistance with opening a licensed child care center or family child care home, and offers state-approved professional development opportunities. 4C also assists providers with participation in the STARS Quality Rating System.
For the community, 4C advocates on behalf of children and families on public policy issues. 4C maintains data on the demand and supply of child care and early education in Northern Kentucky.

Emergency Food Pantries—are available for those without food on their shelves at home, or those waiting for food stamp benefits to start
The Emergency Food Assistance Program—provides monthly commodities to low-income households
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program—provides a monthly food box to low-income senior citizens who meet income guidelines
Farmer’s Market Coupons—are available in the summer months for seniors to obtain fresh fruits and vegetables
Summer Feeding Program - Provides, at no cost, balanced, nutritious meals to all children 18 years of age and younger to ensure that nutritional needs are met during the long summer vacation, when they do not have access to school lunch or breakfast.
Head Start Program - The Head Start promotes child wellness by providing nutrition services that supplement and complement those ofthe home and of the community. Children are served breakfast, lunch and a snack to meet 2/3rds of their daily nutritional needs. The menus are planned to consider nutrition, personal, and cultural preferences as well as the introduction of healthy foods which broaden the child's food experiences. Meals are served family style.

Neighborhood Centers - Locations click

Each of the Neighborhood Centers provide services that respond to local needs and fill locally identified gaps, but typical services include food assistance, a clothing bank, utility assistance, case management, budget counseling, eligibility determination for weatherization assistance, homeless prevention, child care assistance, prescription assistance, and advocacy, information and referral.

Through a collaboration with the St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy, you may be able to qualify for assistance if you have no prescription drug coverage obtain free medications. Individuals with Medicare Part D plans may also be eligible.
Representatives from St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy come to the neighborhood centers once per month to take applications for assistance. Applicants are screened to determine eligibility with prescription medicine. Applicants must live in Northern Kentucky (have bills with current name and address), cannot have prescription drug coverage, and must supply the following information during the certification interview:
● income verification for all members of the applicant’s household
● verification of the expenses of the applicant’s household
● a printout from the applicant’s current pharmacy
