For many of us, the thought of Thanksgiving invokes images of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, family and friends, but for many Camp Washington residents a Thanksgiving feast is a luxury they simply can't afford. For this reason, Washington UCC administers the Thanksgiving Program, which distributes food bags, containing the necessary components to make a Thanksgiving Dinner, to those in need. The Thanksgiving Program serves about 125 families and individuals each year.

How to receive Thanksgiving Assistance

  • No Registration is necessary to take part in this program, it is open to all who come.
  •  Thanksgiving food bags are distributed the fourth Tuesday of November between Noon and 2 p.m. Parties interested in receiving a food bag should come to the church between noon and 2 p.m.
