Here's How:
Visit any public library, deputy registrar, public high school or vocational school, or your county's Board of Elections to obtain a voter registration form or request one online at the following link:
To qualify to register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old or older on election day, and a resident of Ohio for 30 days.
Your place of residence is the place to which, when you are absent, you have the intent to return. A student or military person can register to vote where they reside for school or military service if they regard it as their place of residence.
The form must be received or postmarked thirty days before an election in which you intend to vote.
You will need to put your name, address, birthdate, and city and state of birth on the form. Your social security number and phone number are voluntary.
If you are already registered and need to change your name and/or address, complete the name and/or address change portion of the voter registration form.
You will need to sign and date the form. You do not need to show I.D. when you present the completed form.
The board of elections will notify you by mail that your application has been processed and in which precinct you are to vote.
Tips:
Boards of Elections or their staff and officials cannot provide advice about how to vote.
Remember: you must have the completed form to your county Board of Elections 30 days prior to an election to vote in that election.
